WHO ARE WE?

Combat Edge Marketing is a martial arts–focused digital marketing agency based in Austin, Texas. Established in 2025, our mission is simple: help local martial arts schools grow. We work closely with dojos, gyms, academies, and training centers across the region to strengthen their online presence, generate consistent leads, and build long-term student retention. We operate as your in-house marketing team - the people who show up, understand your culture, and get the job done so you can focus on teaching.

Combat Edge was founded by Johnny Nguyen, a UTSA graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and currently pursuing his MBA. With a lifelong background in Ashihara and Kyokushin Karate, plus experience in Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Johnny understands the martial arts industry from the inside. His passion for what he calls “beautiful violence” drives his commitment to helping local gyms expand through strategic marketing and community-focused branding.
